Avast ye Scurvy Dogs!

Out today, in comic shops across the country (and in the US too!) X-23 #7: The All-Pirate Issue!

What can I say about this cover, that it can't say for itself? What if? I mean really what if Remy Le Beau and Laura Kinney were tearing it up 200 years ago, wreaking havoc on the high-seas? Would it look something like this? I like to think, yes.

In related news, as a result of this cover, there are those who think a series of X-Men Pirate pieces would be a fine thing to behold...

A note to concerned parents: this issue is for mature readers only. One might say it was rated Arrrrr...

Update: This baby got featured in iFanboy's Best of the Week... in Covers!

This is super awesome. It'd go wonderfully with my pirate themed comic character art collection! :D

Is there a link to that stuff you'd be willing to share perchance...?

Unfortunately the original for this cover was snapped up almost before the ink was dry, but I'm always happy to talk commissions.

Wow, that's great! I love the expressiveness in the faces and body positions. They look like they've just done something scurvy and may be planning something even worse.
